The nest protect is a modern, combination smoke and carbon monoxide detector that can be monitored (and silenced!!) via your smart phone.
A critical and foundational component of any smart home setup, it can be accessed via the same dashboard as your Nest thermostat and Nest security cameras, making for a pretty streamlined experience for you home systems monitoring. These are part of our smart home setups at both Cook House and Zink Cabin.
Best in the wired version (if you have power in a good spot), but also available in a battery-powered version.
