Often times we have a vision, and no time to actually realize it. So today we had planned to go out to an event, which we were sad to miss, but instead we changed how our studio looked by painting a wall. We have been working to unify some very simple design ideas in our space. The one rule that we really love, is that if there is a screen on the wall, the wall must be black. No ordinary black, Benjamin Moore Chalk Board Black.
Advances in technology now make it affordable to experiment with aerial video indoors. We thought we would share some test footage of a rig that we built, and are now experimenting with. This footage is of our studio space in Tribeca. For more about the studio visit here.
Archictects from DS+R invited us to shoot and direct a piece with them for an upcoming project with Nuie Blank that will be screened on the New Museum.
