Favorite kitchen faucet
There are only so many matte black kitchen and bathroom fixtures out there (especially for the US market–why is everything cool and black from Australia?) and we've used a number of them. We have a different style matte black Delta faucet in Zink Cabin, and a Brizo in the kitchen of our live/work studio, but this Delta Trinsic faucet that we first installed at Cook House (and have since used on other projects) is by far our favorite.
When it comes to kitchen faucets there are a few aspects we won't compromise on. We want a pull-out sprayer. We want a single handle so you can still set the volume and temperature while holding a dish in your hand. And we want clean lines with minimal decoration and trim.
The magnetic dock for the pull-out sprayer on this faucet is fantastic (and actually works!), the high gooseneck leaves room for big pots and cutting boards and the whole unit feels high quality and substantial without costing a fortune. And it's made in the USA!
