So it's a bowl that can hold liquid, with a hole at the bottom that can fit a commercially available drain, and an extra hole at the top that connects to that drain in case the water gets too high.

It's easy to clean, the vertical sides help reduce the water that splashes around when trying to wash your face, and it doesn't demand a lot of attention.

Pretty simple really.

Just don't forget to set your counter height lower to accommodate the height of the vessel-style bowl. We usually set our bathroom counters at 30", with the top of the bowl coming in around 36".
